You will have a scenic tour in your private car with our own personal guide today starting in Vedado (New Havana) with its eclectic architecture, a stop at the famous Revolution Square and Jose Marti Memorial, see the more modern business district of Miramar and then travel back through central Havana, viewing the lively Parque Central with Prado, Capitolio Building, Gran Teatro, Revolution Museum and then visit the Morro-Cabana fortress lookout point across the bay for great views of the city and take photos. We will now walk around the historical Old Havana with its many colonial plazas. First visit the Plaza de Catedral with the famous elegant centuries-old church and then the main Plaza de Armas with the grand Captain General’s Palace (now called the City Museum). Lunch at a local restaurant (extra $5-$10cuc pp.) and take a break. Afterwards continue onward to Plaza de San Francisco the original port entrance to the walled city with its eclectic neo-classical architecture, cruise terminal, art galleries and fine dining areas. Next we visit Plaza Vieja displaying an Italian fountain, charming restaurant patios with local music and activities. Lastly we walk up the lively Obispo St., the main walkway of Habana Vieja, visit Hemingway at his favourite bar and have an afternoon cocktail. Take a taxi (extra $5cuc) back to your hotel to relax late day. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at an arranged time this evening, to go for dinner (extra $10-$20cuc pp.) at a centuries old sailor’s tavern in Havana Vieja with a Colonial Spanish Flamenco Show. After, walk through safe Old Havana and see the nighttime lights, hear some local music and then return to your hotel.

You will see scenic landscapes filled with national royal palms, lush valleys, majestic mountains, tobacco plantations and rum plantations.
