Breakfast at your hotel included. Travel today by modern coach to visit Vinales Valley in Pinar del Rio region in Cuba’s most western province where the world’s best tobacco is grown. You will see scenic landscapes filled with national royal palms, lush valleys, majestic mountains, tobacco plantations and rum plantations. Breakfast at your hotel included. This morning you will travel to Santiago de Cuba through the many sugar plantations along the way. Lunch along the way in historical, very patriotic Bayamo one of the oldest towns in the New World founded in 1513 by Diego Velasquez. Continuation onto Santiago de Cuba. Local festivities will be going on around the city today for the end of Carnival and the 26th of July memorial tributes, we will be partaking in these activities. Check into your hotel with welcome drink. Dinner is included at your hotel. This evening you will enjoy this city’s incredible music scene, the land of Cuban rhythms. MELIA SANTIAGO HOTEL.

of the most southern city. Visit to the Moncada Barracks, dramatic scene of the 26th of July failed takeover.

SANTO DOMINGO HOTEL
Breakfast included at your hotel. Travel to National Park to visit the historical revolutionary site of
La Plata de La Comandancia. One and half hour hike into the site with local guide and the story behind this famous mountain top revolutionary base for Che and Fidel for two years prior to the last victory fifty years ago. Packed lunch will be taken with us. Hike back out & travel to our hotel. Dinner included and local entertainment.
Breakfast included at your hotel. Travel to Santiago Airport for flight back to Havana today. Flight included aprox.1.5 hours. Time to be confirmed later. If a morning flight, we will have afternoon free in Havana to visit Revolution Plaza today or if not then the following day. Airport transfer to our hotel. Check-in and welcome drink. We will be staying at the historical Habana Libre Hotel in Vedado (New Havana) where the revolutionaries stayed upon arrival back in Havana in January 1959 and held their headquarters. Visit this evening with a famous
photographer who documented the events in 1959 with the original photos of this event. HABANA LIBRE HOTEL

on the last revolution and changes it brought about in Cuba and now the challenges facing Cuba in the future.Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit to the majestic Revolution Museum, formerly the presidential palace built in 1929 and decorated by Tiffany’s of New York. A scene of several attacks by university students previous to the last revolution. Now a museum documenting the events of the last revolution. Walk up the famous Prado to the Capitolio Building, the previous parliamentary house, where Fidel and Che gave their famous victory speeches on Jan 1st 1959. Tour of Miramar this evening to see the new emerging Havana in this upscale neighbourhood originally built in the 1920’s and now being modernized. Farewell dinner and entertainment on our last evening.
